During lockdown I had a flood of inspiration and I wrote as much as possible. I told people on social media I was writing a song about missing someone, and asked them if they were missing someone too, and if they wouldn’t mind sharing their story with me. I got the most gut-wrenching messages - I read every one of them. I was so sad for days until I was finally able to pick up my guitar and finish the song.
