"Ghost" is about missing someone who isn’t around, but feeling their presence guiding you to make the right decisions. When I was in the studio recording the song for the first time, I got a text from a random number. It was from my mom, the one I wrote this song about. The one I write a lot of my songs about. She wanted to reconnect with me. It had been 13 years since I'd seen her, and another 13 years before that.
We are now nurturing our relationship. Slowly.
